Chinook Salmon of the Snake River begin their lives in mountains of Idaho’s rivers, live their lives in the Pacific Ocean, and return to their natal spawning stream in Idaho. This fish is on the brink of extinction. This is the summer when all pressure is focused on maintaining this fish that is millions of years old.
