On September 2nd, alright, so the Saints are making some moves. They put Rookie Safety Lorenzo Stiles Jr. on injured reserve. This happened Tuesday. It means he's sideline for a bit, at least for the first four games of the season. They needed their roster spot because they picked up another player, cornerback, decamory, and Richardson, off waivers. So, it's a bit of a shuffle happening on the team right now. Stiles went down with the calf injury during their second preseason game. It's tough for a rookie trying to make his mark. He was a 17-second overall pick out of Ohio State. Last season with the Buck Eyes, he was putting in work, racking up 30 tackles and two pass breakups in 12 games. He even took a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. That's some serious playmaking ability. So, he'll be off for a while, but the hope is he can come back strong after those initial four games. We'll see how the secondary shapes up without him for now. I'm Corey with The Story, and you've been listening to NFL News Today.
