S3 EP70: Zion Narain - Homebirth

Today’s episode features the birth journey of first time mum, Zion. Being born at home herself, Zion knew without a doubt that a homebirth was the only option for her. At a 6 week scan it was discovered she was carrying twins but sadly one of them wasn’t to be. Despite this loss, she went on to have a healthy and fulfilling pregnancy. She narrates her birth as a life-changing experience that left her feeling reborn again. setting the scene of a rising sun and fireworks in the distance while she worked with her body, and baby, to bring her home. She shares what unexpectedly brought her comfort during labour and what she’s learned about her body’s fertility.
