On April 2, 2026, the Colorado Court of Appeals reversed the conviction of Letecia Stauch and ordered a retrial after finding that a biased juror had been improperly allowed to deliberate. Letecia was originally convicted in 2023 of the murder of her 11-year-old stepson Gannon and was sentenced to life in prison.
