"I realized that I misspoke on the podcast when talking about the deuterated water tracer technique. There is one point where I said "it has an extra hydrogen". It doesn't, the hydrogens already on the water are isotopes. Everything I say after that is correct about the hydrogen of D2O being the tracer which finds its way onto amino acids through metabolic processes." - Eric
