S1E92 My Dirty Little Secret

A couple of weeks ago I ran into a friend from church.  I don't think I had seen him since before the pandemic and if I had, it hadn't been for long.  As we stood there catching up, he was asking me about some of the the things we had been doing on the farm that he had seen on Facebook.  And then he asked me this question; "Brian, how do you get it all done????"  And then, I had to share with him my dirty little secret..... I don't.  

Many times it is easy for us to get either an incomplete or fully wrong perspective of someone else's life.  And then we measure ourselves against a measuring stick that isn't realistic or may be flat out wrong.  The Bible tells us that those who measure themselves among themselves are not wise.  How true that is.  

And so this episode is just a reminder for you to focus on living out your journey.  Don't compare yourself to other people.  And if you feel tempted to compare yourself to me and think that you're not doing enough, just remind yourself of my dirty little secret, "I'm not getting it all done either."  And it's all good.
