About this episode

EV technology has progressed significantly in recent years, with the rise of awareness of climate change, air pollution, and the depletion of fossil fuels. Governments and consumers around the globe are increasingly demanding cleaner and more sustainable transportation options. Automakers are investing heavily in research and development to improve battery technology, increase the range of EVs, and reduce production costs. Tech companies are also getting involved in the EV space, such as with the development of autonomous driving technology and the creation of charging infrastructure.

MIH is a Taiwan-based open EV platform that aims to provide a comprehensive and customizable EV solution for automakers, with a focus on modularization and standardisation. The MIH platform includes hardware and software components such as electric motors, battery packs, and vehicle control systems that can be adapted to various vehicle types and specifications. The open nature of the platform also allows for collaboration and innovation among different players in the EV ecosystem.
