Since its construction in the 1950s, manmade Lake Lanier has had countless tragedies. Over 700 people have lost their lives here, making it one of the most dangerous lakes in the world. The land is also rooted in a dark and senseless history of racism, violence, murder, and greed. Is the Georgian lake haunted? Is there a Lady of the Lake? Is it cursed? Is it just plain dangerous?
