Shortly after the end of WWII an American Christian missionary, who was called to serve in a small village in the Philippines, came face to face with a terrifying creature that shook him to his core.  An entity so vile it made him question everything he knew or even believed.

Deep in the darkest heart of the Philippines sits an evil, shapeshifting creature that shares the grotesque characteristics of werewolves, vampires, and ghouls.

It has no consistent image or description because its appearance varies per region.
This week on THAT WOULD BE RAD, we take you across the world as we explore THE ASWANG, the most feared creature in Philippine folklore, along with some runner-ups that are sure to make your spine tingle!
