About this episode
Kathie Truitt almost went to prison after being falsely accused of trying to kill her stalker neighbor. After moving into a seemingly quiet suburban neighborhood, Kathie and her family are stalked by a "crazy neighbor lady" who makes up strange lies about Kathie and even begins to dress like her. Her neighbor lies to authorities and has Kathie charged with attempted murder of which she is later acquitted. Kathie's book entitled, 'False Victim', is the basis for the Lifetime Movie 'The Neighbor in the Window', starring Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
