Sanjay Bangar has seen everything there is to see in Indian cricket. He started his career at the turn of this century and played for India for over a decade. While he did play for 2 seasons in the IPL, his real IPL story began with his coaching stints both at the IPL and for the Indian team. Some of the best Indian batsmen including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane have openly credited him for contributing to their growth as players, and he brings all that experience and knowledge to the RCB.
