Ryland Returns to Cardinals, Kicker Battle Looms

At 26 years old, Hill compete with Josh Cardi for the starting job when training camp starts. Ryland first joined the team in October of 2024. He stepped in for an injured map crater and nailed several game-winning field goals, so the Cardinals kept him for the full 2025 season. Last year though, Ryland had some ups and downs. He made 25 out of 33 field goals and went perfect on all 36 extra points. His misses mostly came from beyond 30 yards. Now the team has a new special team's coordinator in Michael Gobriel. He's working under head coach Mike LaFloor, who likes his energy and experience on the unit. Expect a real battle between the two kickers this summer.
