Another death in three injuries happened in Zabarija, after guided bombs struck a residential area. Russia's defense ministry claims the strikes hit energy and industrial sites supporting Ukraine's military, plus airfields. President Valodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia wants to use the Middle East conflict to ramp up destruction in Ukraine. He called for Europe to boost production of air defense missiles, especially against ballistic threats, to protect lives. Meanwhile, U.S. broker peace talks between Russia and Ukraine are paused.
