And one I had never been asked before. Question was, what do you love most about baseball? Ruben, as much as we all love baseball, and James really, really, really, really loves baseball, I can't imagine even James love touches yours. I mean, it has been a defining element of your life. What do you love most about baseball? There's nothing I don't love about baseball. To be frank with you, the feel that you know that there's every single action will cause some other reaction in the game. There's so many permutations, machinations, all types of stuff that can happen in a baseball game that are immeasurable. I know the analytics folks have gotten to the point where they've tried to break all those things down.

4:09But the reality of it is that you just never know what will happen from pitch to pitch and from play to play inning to inning. And that is the beauty of the game because it's so unpredictable. You will see something in a baseball game pretty much every single game that you've never seen before. You're right. And that's hard to imagine. There's so many things that happen in a baseball game or can or, you know, cause and effect. It's just that it's immeasurable and it's a beautiful thing. And, you know, obviously, I've lived through it and was born into it. But I'm really fortunate to continue to be in it in some way, shape or form. Well, we want to hear from everyone today on, you know, really not so much as baseball, but the Phil's. New season, new opportunity, great opportunity. Got a legit shot. Certainly got to play better in October. And to me, the biggest thing is batters four through nine. I mean, I feel really confident in the starting pitchers.

5:09I feel pretty darn confident in the relievers. I feel pretty darn confident in batters one through three in whatever order of their sequence. And they'll probably juggle it a few times this year. Rob Thompson typically does. But it's batters four through nine that I think will be the definers of what this team ultimately does. Let's go to the phones. 215-592-94-94. I know everybody's excited for Sancti. Excited to get Wheeler back. I haven't heard anybody say that Noah looked good in the World Baseball Classic,

7:12which I felt he looked phenomenal. Noah looked. He did not. He did not look great in his, you know, in his last spring training. But I don't know how much I'm worried about that. Maybe he was working on things. And I think I read Norfolk about his Vilo was up and his spin raised up. So that's, that's obviously positive. I guess, and I'm excited to see what painter can do. I guess the one painter's taller than John Clark. I saw an interview. John Clark is giant. John Clark's like, you know, six, five, six, five and a half, six, six. Painter is even bigger than that. That's a huge deal. Well, that's, that's good thing. Because when he strides, he's halfway to the plate. That's the right thing. Yeah. Great for us. I'm still a little worried about Walker being number four. But, you know, He's number six. Okay, he's number four for about three weeks. He's number six. And he's really not even number four. He just happens to be pitching fourth.

8:13He's really number five while he's in the top five. But he's really going to be long man guy number six. And who will start when it, when it starter gets injured? That's it. And they have shown a confidence in Taiwan Walker that I couldn't understand for the longest time. But then, on all last year, he actually gave me some confidence with just providing innings, you know, providing, just fill in the spaces for the other guys who are a little more legitimate. Yeah. It's hard to find a number five starter can eat up that kind of innings. And he's, and you know, honestly, this is a guy who works very hard. He's worked on a different pitch, different type of a breaking ball this year. This spring, which is kind of cool. He tries to make himself a little bit better, just like many of the other guys in the staff. And it'll be interesting to see how often he throws that little slide. He's got a different type of a slider now. Yeah. That's a cool one. All right. It's on. I need a great start to a movie. So two sidenotes real quick.

And I am very confident that how we'll get something done.

18:27admitted to that I just almost forgot about about I'm really excited I'm really excited to see Crawford today I'm just I'm just excited there's excitement it's exciting you can smell of course of course 70 some degrees yeah and a really good team you know Mike as I said earlier think about this for a second the Phillies walk on the field today with the reigning batting champ in the national lake the reigning home run champ a pitcher who finished second in the saw young award and those three players are not Bryce Harper or Zach Wheeler who may who may still be their two best players maybe so I mean they have a very very good team now look we all know the deal they got to play better in October the primary thing is they've got to hit better in October we all know that so none of that optimism washes away in my opinion the frustration but I thought the frustration in the offseason washed away what should have been more optimism in the in the offseason and I'm I just say I'm very intrigued to
