Royals Return, Self Takes High Road, Jussie’s Sentence Important, AFC West SB Odds are Crazy, Daylight Savings Attacked

   The Royals are back and the full 162 games start on April 8.  We always knew this was possible and despite all the lies, most are just happy it's worked out.

   Bill Self's Jayhawks just destroy West Virginia to start their Big 12 Tourney and then when asked about Bruce Weber's comments about cheaters, Self took the high road.  I'll fill in the blanks and tell you what happened behind the scenes.

   Actor Jussie Smollett is sentenced to 150 days in jail for faking a race crime and most people are focusing on how he sort of freaked out shouting he's not suicidal as he left the courtroom.  That deserves the headline, for sure.  But what the sentencing means is what's really important.

   Vegas has new Super Bowl odds out after the Russell Wilson trade to Denver and all the new contracts signed this week.  Wait until you hear how the AFC West fares in these rankings.

   And some crazy people at some scientific academy of sleep are actually in front of Congress trying to get rid of Daylight Savings Time because they say it kills people.  Oh, brother.
