About this episode
“I was invited to go to this theatre in Wolverhampton and I'm always a little bit nervous about going to places where I'm not entirely sure how the show is going to land…and it ended up just being such a fun show and the audience was so giving and so generous.
That kind of restored my faith in humanity a little bit because these people who had probably just seen it in a brochure had just taken a chance on it.
And I think sometimes you get into this bubble that it's, either you do it in Edinburgh or London and then regional touring is a waste of time but I have such a different view on it.”
