The 26-year-old crashed his electric bike near the club's headquarters in Moore Park. Medical staff checked him out Thursday afternoon, and while he feels okay with no major damage, his status remains uncertain right before the match. Players often ride e-bikes and scooters around the Moore Park area to get between training fields and the gym at Sydney Football Stadium. Smith has battled injuries since his debut back in 2019, so this crash adds to a tough run for him. The incident has pulled focus from Ravitos' winger Alex Johnson's chase for the all-time tri-scoring record. Johnson needs just one try against the Roosters to match Ken Irvine's 212 tries, a mark unbroken since 1969. Two tries would see him break it out right.
