His pet name is Tozy. His official name is Champion Carredig Maffioso. I think I'll call him Tozy because I can spell that which is good. Nice to win, but obviously the vulnerable breeds competition has a very serious side to it, doesn't it? The vulnerable breeds are those dogs who are vulnerable as the title says. Yes and there is a number of breeds in there with very few being bred each year and they are beautiful representatives their breeds. We need to keep them going. We need enthusiasm for these breeds to be maintained and this is a great showcase for those breeds which people perhaps don't see every day and they are, I mean there's so many of them in there that I thought were just adorable. We've seen every year a large entry

1:02for the usual dogs like the Labradoras and the Golden Retrievers. We've seen a rise in the last few years of much smaller dogs, fresh birdles, pugs, yeah. Is that having an effect on the popularity of larger animals like the Irish Wolfhands? I think the larger breeds are more difficult to maintain and to kennel and to afford to be frank, but they had they come, I mean my vet says big dog, big bills. They are just repay your faith in them in spades. I would say he's delightful. He's very relaxed now and having a lie down. Just tell me what he's like at home as a pet. He wouldn't regard himself as a pet. He thinks he's he's one of us and he shares his life with Debbie and me

Absolute wonderment. I thought it was a real privilege to represent the vulnerable breeds, I just loved it and I was delighted at the end of a long day at Croft for this to happen. It was wonderful.
