Rock Hall 2026 Inductees: Legends Etch Names in History

0:00On April 14th, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just dropped their class of 2026 in Duties, and it stacked with legends. Sayed, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan, lead the pack, joined by Phil Collins and his solo run after Genesis got him in before plus Billy Eidl, Iron, Maiden, New Order, and Oasis, eight heavy hitters making history. Earlier this week on April 13th, the committee made it official, calling it music's top honor. Herman John Sykes hyped it up, saying they're ready for an epic celebration with these icons. Fans are buzzing, but not everyone's celebrating. Big snubs like Mariah Carey on our third nomination and new edition who crushed the fan vote, but still got left out, that fan pick only counts as one out of about 1200 votes, so it didn't sway the committee much. Beyond the main eight, special awards go to trailblazers too. The Influence Honors hit Celia Cruz, Felikudi, Queen Latifa, MC Light, and Grand Parsons.
