About this episode
Today on the podcast Rachel will be chatting with Robin Jennings. He is an author, speaker, and teacher. As Rector of St. Francis in the Fields in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1983 until his retirement in 2014, Robin has years of experience encouraging countless churches and parishioners to cast a vision — to develop their personal life plans — equipping them with the tools necessary to participate in the divine nature of Jesus Christ. He evokes a deep level of participation, for the participation he engages Christians in is not about passively exercising one’s faith. Instead, Robin believes that when we participate in Jesus’s calling in our lives, we are energetic, involved, ever-changing and actively growing through our everyday, ordinary activities in life. He charges others to see the extraordinary revealed by the grace and knowledge found through our participation in the divine nature of the very real kingdom of God.
In this Episode we talk about about:
- What led him to going to Seminary and why God led him down that path
- How his personal experiences prepared and equipped him to write his books
- Insights from his book May You Live in Christ: Spiritual Growth Through the Vision of St. Peter
- The meaning behind the phrase “May you live in Christ.”

- What it was like transitioning from retirement to writing and speaking
- His writing process
