Robbers Steal Racing Bike, Threaten Manager

0:00On March 18, two ropers weighing Balaklava stole an 8,000-pound racing bike from the roof of a car belonging to the elite Jocruh Hansling, racing team in Putney, London. The theft happened last Friday, around 255 in the afternoon, on a residential street called Dover Park Drive. The team's manager had just locked two bikes onto the roof rack while prepping for a race when the thieves pulled up on a moped, grabbed one bike, and damaged the second one badly. The manager spotted the crime thanks to a nearby driver honking and confronted the pair, but one pulled out a large machete to scare him off before. They sped away with the bike. The team called it a shift from simple theft to outright violent robbery in broad daylight, right in front of witnesses, and shared video of the incident on social media. Police are investigating the robbery, reviewing that footage, and asking anyone with info to come forward as they hunt for the suspects.
