Robbers Jailed for Stealing £65k Watch in Mayfair

The attack happened last May 11th during a sunny Sunday afternoon as the victim left the cafe on Mount Street and headed to his car. One robber yanked the valuable Nautilus model straight off his wrist while three men, including the attackers, bolted from the scene. The victim gave chase, but got shoved hard into a parked car by the 23-year-old spotter, damaging the vehicle and ending his pursuit. The trio vanished into nearby streets and the watch was never found. Both robbers were in the UK illegally, with the spotter having crossed the channel by boat as a teen and the other claiming asylum status. Prosecutors described it as a deliberate group effort targeting rich tourists in the area near the Cannot Hotel. In the end, the judge of Southwark Crown Court called it a serious plan crime, handing down four years to the 26-year-old and three years to his accomplice, with those terms
