In college, Deke decided to make a career of contemporary a cappella.[22] even though people laughed at him [23] and thought he was crazy for doing so. Since then, he’s arranged for The Social Network, and served as music director and arranger for Pitch Perfect 1 and 2, the sing off, and now his new show Pitch Slapped premiered this week on Lifetime.
