Couriger Haddon's mother Carol shared emotional details from their last meeting in a statement read to the court. She described his eyes as sad and noted the powerful hug he gave her, almost breaking her ribs. He had planned to visit family after returning from Dubai. Toxicology reports showed high alcohol levels in his blood and urine, at 212 milligrams
