Richard Arnold: US Correspondent reports on conditions aboard USS Abraham Lincoln

The USS Abraham Lincoln has been deployed in the Strait of Hormuz for almost 9 months. 

Reports say the conditions on board are deteriorating, with families of the navy personnel on board saying sailors are subject to poor conditions, and a lack of food and medical services.

US Correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking that the soldiers will be heading home soon, after pressure from the American public on the Trump administration.

Another aircraft carrier will be deployed to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Strait.
