0:00And hello there and greetings from my senior citizen apartment. It's great thing with you. I want to share something with you as reading earlier this morning and look chapter 7 starting in verse 36. And it says here, and one of the Pharisees desired Jesus that he would eat with him and he went into the Pharisees house and sat down to meet. It behold a woman in the city which was a sinner when she knew that Jesus sat at meet in the Pharisees house, brought an alabaster box of ointment and stood at his feet behind him weeping and began to wash his feet with tears and did wipe them with the hairs of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment. And now when the Pharisee which had bitten him saw it, he spoke within himself saying, this man, if he were a prophet, would have known who in what manner a woman this is that toucheth him for she is a sinner.

1:00And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say to thee. And he sayeth, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors, the one owed five hundred pence and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore which of them will love him the most. Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, thou hast rightly judged. And Jesus turned to the woman and said unto Simon, see us thou this woman, I entered into thine house. Thou gave us me no water for my feet, but she hath washed my feet with tears, wiped them with the hairs of her head, Thou gave us me no kiss, but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, her sins which are many are forgiven, for she loved much, but

2:04to whom little is forgiven the same loveeth little. And he said to her, thy sins are forgiven, and they that sat at meet with him began to say within themselves, who is this that forgives it since also? And he said to the woman, thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace. That's over Luke chapter 7. And I think about, oh, there are so many sinners on the face of this earth who want to get right with God and don't know how, and if they would just look to Jesus and put their faith in him and rely on him, and trust his sacrifice for their sins. Maybe you're that person, maybe you know your sinner. Well you can join us sinners who are forgiven and have been washed by the blood of the Lamb. Maybe you're a Christian who's been backslidden, and you need to get things squared away with

3:05God. Now's the time to do it. Why? Because he loves you. He loves you so much that he came to earth to die for your sins, so call out to him. But this is beautiful. This is great news. So let's rejoice in this today. Let's ever be praising him. Let's praise him for what he did for this woman. And look at her example of faith. She put her trust in Christ. And she showed great love and adoration to him. We do well to do the same, right? Okay. Well that's what I wanted to share with you, and I shall visit with you next time.
