0:00And I, it's rich, and welcome to another podcast as we encourage each other to have simple faith in Jesus. Let's not complicate it and take up our cross and follow him. I would like to reflect on the theme on this podcast of Cast Away. And I was reading here in 1 Corinthians 927, but I keep under my body and bring it into subjection, less that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a Cast Away. 1 Corinthians 927. And I had looked up what it said in Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary about that word Cast Away. And it says here, that which is thrown away a person abandoned by God as unworthy of his favor, a reprobate. And then again, there is something here in Romans 813 that ties in with this.
1:02Listen to this. For if ye live after the flesh ye shall die, but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body ye shall live. Romans 813. So we do have a responsibility in God's grace, don't we? So I thought it would be a good idea to pray about this today and seek the Lord's help. So why don't we do that right now? Lord, help us give us the grace, Father, to live this type of life and to live according to the Spirit, not according to the flesh. Give us grace to do that, to make the right decisions this day, this night, this hour. And I ask that in Jesus' name, amen. And that's it for this podcast. I shall visit with you next time.
