Bosnian-born, Sweden-based producer and jockey Sev Dah has been carving a niche truly personal and distinctive into techno’s growingly standardized on and off-stage realm. Boss of his own imprint, Proletarijat, with releases for Mote-Evolver, Random Island or K S R under his belt, Sev has been pushing wares both entrancingly hi-NRG (a nod to the early Schranz heroes) and ruggedly abrasive. The result is an effervescing mishmash of rabid uptempo drives, screwed melodies and fiery rhythmic grids, ready to leave all ravers knocked askew.
