About this episode
In our society, taking downtime is very frowned upon.
I’ve worked with many high-achieving women, and they all share the same guilt when it comes to resting. They feel the need to justify every vacation by working hundred-hour weeks, or else they think they're being lazy. Lazy! Let that sink in.
But rest is a rebellion against the grind.
It’s trusting that God will multiply our efforts while we renew our souls.
That’s why today, I want to talk about radical rest and why it’s the ultimate form of rebellion.
