Razorbacks' Richmond Heats Up, Boosts March Madness Hopes

This season he's averaging 10.4 points per game overall, a big jump from his freshman year's 5.7. But in his last seven outings, that number skyrockets to 18.6 points per contest. He's dropped 20 or more points in each of the past four games, topping it off with 23 points in a 99 to 84 win over. Texas A&M on Wednesday, that performance helped push the number 20 Razorbacks to a strong victory. Coaches and teammates alike are buzzing about his growth. Head coach John Calipari, credits Richmond's extra work on his three points shot in practice, which has defenses scrambling. Senior forward Travon Brazil says it makes the whole team tougher to game plan against. Richmond's three point shooting has improved dramatically, from 12.5% as a freshman to 26.8% this year.
