1:00It's time to get raw it is time to get down it is time for your number one source of all things WWE right here on the tarbuckle tavern this is a raw down I am one half of your host the MVP Marco in with me as always Jay bugs how you doing sir it's been a fucked week I think locally for me. Yeah, it's been weird. Yeah, like we had the school started this week for our area. So first day of school for a lot of the kids around here. Traffic definitely showed up as it is a normally what have right on time. So that was fun. It's always on time where you're at. I know it is. Well, it's that's always on time, but you're never on time because. Yep, the traffic is awful around here. But yeah, then that just where just crazy stuff happened. It was fast paced.

2:01Haven't been like, haven't been on social media as much too. Just like just super busy over the weekend and just doing stuff. So hopefully I can get back into the back into the groove as they say. So I was here. How was your weekend? Well, my city had to declare a state of emergency. This Thursday. Give us a Thursday. I don't know the kind of winds that we got. We got this like really. We got these really bad thunderstorms Thursday. I got it. Yeah. And whatever winds hit. Knockdown so many trees. That are my city had to declare a state of emergency. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I think that is. Yeah. On their Facebook, they posted that they are over a hundred trees got knocked over.

3:04And like headstones and everything got ripped out of the ground. And then all over town, you're seeing all these big ass trees. They fell on cars. They fell on houses. They were blocking roadways and knocked the power out for like thousands of people for quite a while. Some people for several days. And what I went into work that day, getting to work. What are the main routes that goes like east to west in my town. All the lights were completely no power. Wow. So. So my traffic was almost like your traffic where it was so backed up so I had to reroute myself. I had to reroute myself three or four more times because that's how many streets were blocked off because trees fell over. We're blocking the streets. Was it like hurricane winds or was it like it almost like. Was it like a turntable? What did they categorize it as like a tornado? The national weather service. I think set a Cleveland is what usually does our stuff here.

4:05Yeah. They said it wasn't a tornado, but I don't remember the exact wind kind of winds it hit. It almost sounded like it was worse like the winds are just as powerful. Wow. But apparently there's some people that were like kind of trying to make sense of it. And there was like this is out of my wheelhouse. So I'm not going to explain it well, but like there was like the perfect shit storm over the last couple days where it was like warm in the right spots. The right amount of rain where it was like heating up the ground. It was losing loosening up the soil. The kind of soil that eerie has. And then the energies go in in these certain places and all of a sudden we get these really bad winds and these bad thunderstorms and then just mix it all together and it created whatever the hell it created that. Like the city school had to close down that day like they canceled classes. This is this is the town that gets. I don't know we can get I mean you remember last winter like there's days where we get up to two feet of snow and that's literally no joke like we would get up to two feet of snow and some of that that specific school wouldn't even close down, but that's such as how bad the trees were.

5:15And the power being out and everything that they had to cancel classes because after schools didn't have power or trees were falling over the property or the buses couldn't get where they had to pick up the kids and. Yeah it was fucked yeah you maybe you maybe think of when you talk like you know the things loosening up and the ground and all this stuff think about like sinkholes could possibly happen something like that we're like those that that creates me out if you ever seen any videos of sinkhole I have just happening out of nowhere. Just like just houses disappear cars just fall into the into the earth it's it's a yeah it's thanksly that did not happen that I know of. And I because they said that when's we're reaching up to 70 miles per hour. But there's like a there was like some sort of like I don't know kind of weird win that they called it but but either way it pushed it knocked so many trees over with snapping the full.

6:22I guess power got knocked out for over 31,000 people. Let's look at it now it's classified as a violent storm and these things 70 miles per hour approaching category one hurricanes. Oh. Well at least there wasn't like a tornado but like I said it's almost like that's still my mind as well should have been. This is the this is a national weather service by the way. Yep. All the looking at all the categories. Yeah anything over 75 is you know Rousse will peel off windows or break trees or be uprooted not just break you know so like. Yeah they were they were uprooted yet like like they like literally like pushed over most these trees like that's like you. If you're like I don't know you're walking through the woods and you just see a bunch of like an old tree just fell over essentially that was everywhere just these trees got just pushed over like somebody just walked up to it and just pushed it.

7:28Dang. That's crazy. But like all the parks looked like frickin war zones this cemetery looked like a frickin war zone. It's just stuff was falling over everywhere. Yeah it's like kind of like how WWE is right now it's like in shambles right. Yeah. It's always been in shambles that it's not it's not a new comment you just made there. Yeah I know it's slowly. It's slowly not I don't want to say but surely it will just say it slowly just. I don't know a lot of a lot of questions for the for the people that are you know running the WWE right now as far as story lines that's so much business are always in it you. They get to do their business. But as far as story lines I'm I have a lot of questions. I clearly do a lot of the right moves business wise because they keep making money and they keep improving their their numbers.

8:28Yeah not maybe not the attendance but they're still maintaining a much better number than I would have expected. Yeah here's something I usually I'm going to start I'm probably going to start doing this when I you know when I get the balls to do it or just like get the you know the motivation to do it. Just like hop on social media just like if I see something just like talk about it not not to take away from this show but just like anything weird like for instance Aaron you know Sunday nights main event was in Atlanta right Atlanta Georgia. You know every time they do a show or like a PLE or a special event whatever whatever you they always do like you know special gear you know made for that event like they'll have like you know you wrestle maybe a little though like WrestleMania 42 shirts or you know so on and so forth. So they sure did I seen get that here. I mean yeah I mean I I you soon but I was like I used to collect like shirts and stuff like that it just gets to see that I can see you in Tyson both happens kind of.

9:33Yeah I was kind of collection yeah my wife hates me like a ton of I have a ton of t shirts that I haven't thrown out or anything like that they're just some of a cool I have to actually go through them and throw away but nonetheless so they did one they had one shirt in particular for this Sunday nights main event. Are you familiar with a facility a business in Atlanta Georgia called Magic City have you heard of this before. I heard of maybe anything more out of club so this is kind of this is funny so Atlanta at L. Atlantic City and I'm sorry in Atlanta there is a gentleman's club by the name of Magic City. If you go and then he shops calm right now they have merch for Sunday nights main event with Magic City on the front they have hoodies and t shirts and on the sleeve of it it's you know the Georgia peach you know that's like the symbol for Atlanta Georgia well it's a Georgia peach but with a thong on it.

10:44Yeah so did you buy your I did not know I would have got it because it said Magic City but the sleeve part I was like I don't want to walk around like a peach I blow you with a thong a red thong on it's kind of weird but I'm like who let that go who they who's this gear towards who's buying this. Well it doesn't help that we're both probably the farthest from Atlanta Georgia as you can get in the States yeah you know the West Coast but. It's it's as funny I don't think there's anything else in it that I know of Magic City I know it's. A yeah oh yeah the only other I was going to go on their page but it's on Instagram it's i'm not logged in and says restricted so I'm assuming i'm right it is the legit Magic City gentleman's club that they did merge with that they're selling right now on ww shop calm actually so that's it's not like go get yours right now yeah go get yours right yeah usually that's like in attendance stuff like they'll like big.

11:49You know merge specifically for in attendance people not like they don't throw it on there like I think I have like a I have like a where they're in Boston like a while ago they did like a Boston 316 instead of awesome 316 so I have that so many towns that have that yeah so like they had that there they had a. Close the other one there was a cool one that they different survivor series the first ever war games that they did for survivors series of Boston and they did like a Sam Adams. Cross over with WWE it was actually pretty cool so like that like those and like that stuff's pretty cool but like I mean who's walking around with a Magic City. Gentleman's club hoodie WWE branded Magic City. Hey mate maybe the people there love their Magic City. I just think that's hilarious and that's the kind of crowd they're trying to get. They must be because.

12:49I mean they're not definitely not booking it for us anymore. I don't think they're a book in it for my wall that's for sure now they're not yeah the story one they I don't know it's. I mean do you want to get into it do you how do you want to do this you want to weave in and out with stories you want to. Go ahead first and descend Sunday nights main event do you want to talk about Randy or and. Talking about how Farrow. Isn't dead yet on Friday night and then ends up dead today or yesterday depending on not that I'm laughing at it but. It's kind of funny he said that in a promo on Friday. Like in your dog. Surprise is still alive and then fast forward to this week. Cody post that when I passed away. But I saw that today I was like my immediate reaction was that's fucked. Like that is like I don't know if Cody gave Randy the a okay but it was unplanned or.

13:50He was an idiot like. He was a dead dude I mean it's like we know anyway. It's like wow Randy and Cody are bar friends who would have thought like it's like Randy knew. Yeah that's the first thing I thought of when I when I see that post when Cody and Farrow was like oh Randy Orton said. Talk to what I was and then. I was like I'm not going to talk. His famous. Promos that he used to do going into WrestleMania 40 when you just hop on Instagram and. Just cut a 20 minute promo. Yeah swearing and everything. And he called the stupid dog Farrow. That's stupid dog Farrow. He's like yeah because he's talking and Cody like walked away with the sad face after the you know he and out he wasn't going to. Face Roman reigns at WrestleMania that he you know stepped out to the sad puppy dog face you say you did that sad face like I like I killed your dog Farrow that's stupid that's stupid dog whatever he's in.

14:50But yeah I mean Farrow's forever immortalized as a figure I'm not sure but so on ringside collectibles but they had that. Cody Rhodes ringside exclusive. Where it's at that photo of him the drawn photo of him hold of the American flag and like you stand on the mount top they redid the hogan the hocon. WrestleMania eight poster with Cody and his dog so he's forever immortalized. On a figure form I do remember vividly on a w when Cody Rhodes and Brandy were doing an entrance I think it was at a PLE it might have been the first PLE or maybe the second one I can't remember or PPV sorry say you can talk about. Fireworks go off and Farrow just fucking turns and bolts back to the. I know that any dog would cool entrance is like boom boom and you just fucking Farrow just like be lines and they're all just like.

15:51They just continue because he got scared of the fireworks that's that's my memory of Farrow anyway I thought it was funny. Because dogs do that shit they like they hear loud noise and they run. I mean as I feel like all of us would have they don't have any understanding of what the hell is going on so it actually yeah speaking a loud noise that's that's how my so this is why I'm saying it's a weird like past few days like Saturday I wake up to a big like explosion right like just a boom and just I look at I look at like my TV and I like what the hell is that I look and I there's like a little light on the bottom and you know. In standby mode off and so looking around the house everything's the power's gone. That's how I started my Saturday that's how I started my weekend with the big explosion and no power for I think it was like about hour hour and a half. Oh poor you yeah no right third world problems right.

16:52So first world problems but yeah it was a no it was just weird just like just waking up to that and just the rest of the weekend was just crazy just but yeah no RIP time where I there was a time where I drove to work when I was driving to work and yeah there's a time where I drove to work once. Well it's all my way to work a transformer blue while I was driving down the road. Here's her like a big boom and then like you just saw the you know like the big flash and everything yeah there was that and then that's a go off topic but during the summer there was a comment hit the Atlantic Ocean. And we heard it we I mean the everything was like it was rumble and it was like it was like like a big like huge as explosion I was like everyone was like what the hell is that immediately you go on like X or reddit they're all like did anyone hear that the Massachusetts area apparently have did you find a later comment hit a hit the Atlantic Ocean and just the way it hit it just fucking.

17:56Oh massive sound but they still haven't investigated that they just like that just swept it under the rug we don't even know if it was a comment that hit the Atlantic Ocean it could have it could have been something else if you're. Conspiracy is really in aliens because I didn't even talk about it after that there's a yeah it was a comment that hit the Atlantic Ocean nothing to see here and that was it nothing no no words no nothing no follow up. So who knows if you're conspiracy person look it up see if you can find anything welcome to our side of the world yeah I know right but anyway I mean speaking of conspiracy theories I don't know this is nothing really. Actually you know what Bailey that's a conspiracy theory what the hell is going on Bailey's contract we're getting we get a conflicting reports Uncle Dave is fighting. It's fighting for his life on on social media right now going back and forth. It's fighting with Mike Johnson not really but they both have conflicting reports were ones like yeah she signed a new deal and which Dave Meltzer and then Mike Johnson's like no she no she did not sign a new contract.

19:07Did you get it from that what was that wrestling site the one that said um the one that talked about the ESPN. Yes that word got is that regards information from all for the s e scoop through whatever yeah s e s scoop so whatever that was is that where they got the Bailey info I don't know where Dave and Brian I feel like never like and I don't hate Brian but like I swear to God I swear to God they just talk out of their ass sometimes and sometimes are right sometimes they're not. But it's always the pat McAfee thing where it's like according to my sore says nobody knows who the fuck they're talking about and and half the time it just makes you shake your head and it could be the way that they present it it could be that Dave Meltzer is trying to hit that word count that I always had to hit in college. Because every every time he's quoted I'm like dude I don't know if you have to hit that 2000 word count on this entry you have to do but like you're doing it because you just said the same thing for five sentences.

20:17He does reiterate a lot he does reiterate like his points over and over and over again it's like Bailey assigned a new deal Bailey has returned cord and my sources that she has been negotiating and she signed a new deal. And then you go on for like two or three more different ways of rewarding it and then just and I oh my god. Maybe if I listen to the show it wouldn't sound as bad as it sounds when people quote him but like good grief and I trust Mike Johnson more than I do Dave Meltzer he seems to have been pretty on point and the fact that Bailey still has time like nobody could pinpoint exactly when our contract was up. And it sounded like it was more of an end of the year thing than it was a fall thing like a lot of other people's so like Mike Johnson's like she has time left on her contract. And it sounds like she probably got plenty of time to play out this feud with Lyra until the end because I mean there's other people that have been very good for WWE and they used every last bit of ounce of that contract that they had and that's just way it goes sometimes and yeah.

21:34I mean I feel like that's what you should do when you have a really good talent shouldn't just keep them on the sidelines and you have actually you have a story for them just freaking do it. Ash, let me first read and I don't think we did this yet first of first of Tyson hey yo alright. Thank you for joining us as always Tyson and then according to wrestling news on next Bailey has not signed a new has not which is see now so now we have conflicting reports that we have Tyson. And we have Dave Meltzer and now we have we have we have three conflicting reports right now I feel like wrestling news is probably an aggregate account for whatever I'm going with Tyson on this I don't think Bailey signed a new deal. I don't I don't think she did either. I'm going mainly just because Dave Meltzer said it and that's you know and that's fine. Well I'll listen to Tyson over Dave Meltzer when it comes to when it comes to that's he seems to know more about wrestling than that Meltzer does sometimes.

22:38And you are right I feel like they do him and Brian Alvarez they do what we do pretty much but they're obviously they've been no yeah they've been around a lot longer than we have but they just speculate they do the same exact thing. Yeah they know where they're yeah we can say the same thing we can be like you know Bailey did return but you know she might have some time on a contract maybe that's why they you know they they had a return just to get some TV time you know just to play out her you you person like that they don't want to sit on the bench or anything like that you know it's Bailey she's a you know marquee person so you know they they want to on TV and they don't want to make it look at you. We can do that stuff easily that's not hard at all. They do the same thing when it comes to like ratings and stuff like they know the right websites to look at like that everyone else that we have access to yeah there's saying that our sources say and it's just this random Joe Shmo website on the internet that releases TV numbers or whatever. The TV TV pretty much that's what they that's what they're using maybe some AI Gemini one of those I feel like they've had these they've had these things in line well before AI was a thing yeah no I know I know they they have like connections and they have internal you know they have sources and stuff like that they can reach out to and I know that I'm just just messing around.

23:53Like how Russell Ticks just counts dots yeah tickets distributed okay well it just means that people bought them yeah true that is I do I be Russell Texas I mean I don't I don't think it's a great source yeah it is it definitely no hate on them but it's just pointing out like this is what they're doing do you want to sit there and count dots no no no I'm glad somebody's doing it or doing something with the app. I'm just glad somebody's doing it. No one else wants to do that job. I wish like WWE and AW I'm not sure why they're so secretive when it comes to like contracts and stuff like that like I wish you're not not that I want them to be like you know like actual sports but like NFL and be they have no problem would come out and say someone's contract is up or someone's in free agency and like they just come out and say it like what's the big deal. Big secrecy when it comes to pro wrestling with it you know someone's contract is up or you know when they say it's like just tell us it's not a big like there is a lot to that because I mean I think so because you got two types you got two coins here where you have WWE that's maybe paying much less than you would expect.

25:20If you have AEW that's doing everything they can to make sure you don't know what these people are being paid yeah and like that that's towards everybody and I feel like it might be a negative towards either company if like we as fans knew that such and such is not making no one here as much as somebody else I mean some of it would make sense by like I don't know like Oba Femi just made the main roster I'm sure he's not making like nowhere near as much money as even like somebody like the mid. He's or somebody that's just been there for a long time even though Oba is a bigger status and maybe miss took a pay cut but like you know I mean just somebody like that where you're just like why on earth would Oba Oba should be making these more feature their position and I'm better and it's like well they just they just brought him up from NXT is probably still on that NFL rookie deal kind of mentality for NXT he might have not negotiated some new deal yet to like really bump up his pay to something ridiculous unless he already did when he got to the main roster I don't know those answers.

26:20But I feel like it kind of also takes a lot of the illusion out like yeah they want to be like sports but it's also kind of nice as a fan to not know exactly when these contracts are going up how much somebody's making because everything at the end of the day is predetermined we're like in the NFL if you know you're paying a quarterback 20 million but then you know your backup that's making a million like yeah the one that you're paying 20 millions and get more opportunities. But if the one million dollar guys doing that much better he's going to start starting for your team to win but like what the hell is their competition and with WWE or AEW like any of these big ones like they got their payout they got their money what are they trying to accomplish where they have no super bowl where the click for the companies obviously the wrestlers they have WrestleMania they have all in whatever like it's there's there's no real competition for them to for like amongst like I guess there is for the wrestlers but at the end of the day they're not like they kind of decide their fate but not really like the booker there's been so many wrestlers that have done everything right the fans are behind them I mean look at LA night everybody's behind him we think he's done everything right still can't win that world title yet true and there's so many people over time that have probably deserved a world title never got it or

27:46deserved whatever big thing never got it deserved a big contract never had it like I just feel like with wrestling it's much harder because you have the WWE you have AEW they're competing for the same talent they're auditioning out the same amount of money yeah and like AEW would be a complete shit show if all that was like public information or like they had investors involved like like they had a bunch of stocks or whatever the right way to word that would be and they had to disclose everything to them yeah so they could like kind of like I don't know it's just weird because I feel like it would be a lot of negotiating power because the NFL it's a lot of negotiating power if you see like the top running back whoever it may be they get a brand new deal and okay well the next year another couple good running backs just saw that such and such got paid this amount of money I want to get paid more than that then because I'm just as good if not better and so I don't even I'm sure the wrestlers know what each other are making but

28:51probably not like that either yeah I mean I'm not so much I don't really care so much about how much they're making it's more or less like knowing whether they're coming up on their the end of their contract or you know they're looking at like free agency and I know with that what's it's a no-comp cause deal when it comes to pro wrestling maybe that's why they don't do it because it doesn't even matter if they are looking at something else they're not going to be able to compete for that part whatever company for 90 days if anything so maybe that's why they don't even you know big that any news or make it newsworthy but Bailey seems to be not a good discussion when it comes when it comes to that with all that kind of part of their contracts too because they're getting released so they're kind of just being given like a 90 day warning of like hey yeah like you're officially terminated in 90 days yeah yeah that's right uh I think I think that's how I don't know I guess I don't know the legal process

29:53but obviously there's no compete but like they're still getting paid for those 90 days so I only assume it's like hey we're releasing you in 90 days yeah versus like their contract ending or whatever and Bailey like you said is getting all this attention because it's Bailey yeah I mean be more wrestlers ever yeah big commodity or anyone anyone that picks a rep or which would obviously be a W she does leave I mean her best friends there so that's the case but we'll see what happens maybe W W and Tyser to stay who knows they definitely need you know they definitely need the like the veterans there as far as like the you know the women's divisions concern I think I think if they you know the the ladies aren't leaving the ones that are veterans there I think it'll I don't know I don't think they'll be fighting for much as far as like spots on a main event scene or you know spots on TV that type of stuff where you have like you know Becky there's been vocal about that Charlotte

31:00um they've all been vocal about you know having a proper weapon up in the company and you know being that vocal vocal point for that so we'll see well as you think of Charlotte she did that to Kiana James on uh the what's your on Cody's podcast I didn't listen to it was no no 70 to the 70 man's I think I was Stephanie mans uh what's your story yes what's your stories that's Stephanie's yes yeah okay um because I have a little levy quote for it and it was um her on Kiana James that Kiana James makes Charlotte um want to step her game up and that she said I told her one time I think it was after the qualifier for elimination chamber she was stressed about something I was like I am telling you I've been doing this for a long time and you make me want to step up my game you were doing everything you're supposed to do and then there was more to it she said when I am in that ring and I go oh damn she's making me work harder for this she's going to be such a star and when

32:06I read that I'm like she's going to be such a star like you we're doing everything you're supposed to do yeah well what where the fuck is Kiana James and that's it yeah that's the um that's the other side of that too I love you out of James I have been one of her biggest supporters on this podcast whenever she was doing anything it she has been gone with what feels like for weeks she could be involved with the Julia um Blake and Rose stuff I mean like maybe but she has not had a match since the interim women's title qualifying match when Chelsea Green defeated her in three minutes and then she had those two matches against Julia won on Smackdown and then another on main event because why not and like she just has not really been used all summer long after having the run

33:09that she had during the spring and you know the late winner yeah and then you've got Charlotte propping her up here I don't not saying that she's not worthy of it I'm just saying it doesn't line up where you like you have and then that's the other tough part is that you're you're seeing talent that rightfully I think deserves these opportunities deserves to be on TV and there nowhere to be found and that doesn't mean she could be injured who knows yeah she could have asked for time off I don't know but like I'm just sitting here with my hands going like where is she she could point I mean those it's just get them on the fucking card I mean she's not injured anything like that right I'll look it up but I don't I don't think so yeah because sometimes they just I mean sometimes they just quietly go away you know does disappear for a little bit let's see

34:19says this currently says that she's not injured yeah so they just have her on the just riding the bench right now it seems like which things like you say because you know she's definitely a talent she can definitely you know be like BBS BF use in the on Smackdown but I think like you know obviously there's not that much time obviously they you know they cut back that that third hour so thank God you know they yes and I think you know they have to make way for you know certain people so you know that you know Charlotte Alexa and Tatum are gonna take up time you know fatal influence for the ladies they gonna take up time you know sharp I'm sorry Chelsea you know her being the champion now that you now you're bringing in Naya and Lash legend so you know it's like fighting for space pretty much

35:19when it comes to that seems like for the uh for the ladies and the men too I mean this guys that we haven't seen in a while on to well I guess that's the problem everywhere is that you do have them just it and they'll end up coming back we're like Lyra um ended up what she did that like heel turn and then she went away for like a month where like she kind of just showed up to like do promos and stuff on commercials then like now she's finally kind of starting to be around where like Keon is not getting that kind of yeah um but like then there's other people that are given like kind of weird roles where like you had Johnny Organo was just doing what he did in the back for so many months to finally get this um what I thought was a very good title match on Smackdown in Cleveland in his hometown yep um so like there are definitely a bunch of people they're like probably deserving of TV time or like like our tag division on Smackdown that's been kind of non-existent like they're

36:19trying to build up some teams but yeah a lot of those teams like I feel like they're just trying now to make it somewhat relevant after many months of not which is hurt the likes of like Fraxium like Nathan Fraser and Axiom like they're just they have like been almost nowhere to be found and then just looking through like the Smackdown roster you have people like Jordan Grace who seems like she's been nothing but healthy she's posting all the time online and she's been nowhere to be found for months yeah I don't get it and I don't get it either and I it's like it's I have a very difficult yeah they have a mid card title which is the United's you know the women's United States championship and they could have you know Jordan Grace could be out there you know um Keanu James could still be out there you know wrestling for it but I don't I don't get the you know not that not to pull JC Jane and fatal influence away from anything you know

37:21surrounded what they get going on but I don't think they're the ones you pull down I think you pull Jade and meet you in B-Fab yeah probably yeah and like Smackdown's only been having like four matches I get it it's like it's it's a two hour show but like some of these matches don't they're not even giving a lot of time to the matches anyway like most of them are under 10 minutes and like I I don't know there's so many things we can always be complaining about but like if Keanu James had a three-minute match every other week on Smackdown would have that even done or any good like I think that's the stuff that they always have to battle it's like okay well you're gonna put up Keanu James again so you're gonna put her up against like Julia she's gonna face Candace Loray like do you ever feel like a lash legend or like a night like what are you gonna do it's not like there's other random jobbers for her to face like she's gonna have to
