It's a head scratcher since Stafford's locked in as the guy, and the team could have bolstered the roster right away. Fans and analysts lit up social media and airways with backlash, calling it a massive reach. ESPN draft guru Mel Kuiper Jr. ripped the move hard, saying it drags down the whole class and slaps them with just a C plus grade, better than the rival 49ers C, but still underwhelming.
