Rams Tight End Tyler Higbee Signs Two-Year Extension

Tied in Tyler Higby just signed a two-year contract extension worth up to $8 million. The deal keeps the 33-year-old veteran in Los Angeles after he considered retirement as a free agent. Higby joined the Rams as a fourth-round pick in 2016 out of Western Kentucky. At six feet six inches and 253 pounds, he's the longest ten-year player on the roster, with ten seasons under his belt. He holds franchise records for Tied in's with nearly 4,000 receiving yards and 27 touchdown catches. Fans and the team breed the sigh of relief, especially coach Sean McVey who always wanted him back. Higby's a keep locker and reliable in short yardage spots, adding stability to an offense that's battled injuries lately. Despite missing time with knee and ACL issues, including seven games last year in the first 14 this season, Higby still posted 25. Catches for two 81 yards and three scores in 2025. His career total sits at 386 receptions.
