Rams Strengthen Secondary with Big Moves

Cam Curle resigned on a $3-year $36 million deal. Then on the first day of free agency, they added another chiefs corner, Jalen Watson, to a $51 million contract. These additions pair perfectly with the Rams' existing safeties and locked down the back end for years. Curle put pins to paper on his extension last week, right after the team started reshaping the unit. Curle shared his excitement on NFL Network Tuesday, pumped about playing alongside those new playmakers and aiming for the number one defense this season. Last year, cornerback was the Rams soft spot, especially in the playoffs against the Seahawks. Now on paper, Los Angeles boasts one of the league's top secondaries, which could fix those past issues and boost their contention chances in 20-26.
