Rams Stack Roster with Trost, Klare in NFL Draft

0:00On April 25, the Los Angeles Rams kept stacking their roster on day 2 of the 2026 NFL draft. After grabbing a quarterback to follow Matthew Stafford in Round 1, they snagged tight in Max Claire from Ohio State in the second round. Then, with the 93rd pick in Round 3, they add a Missouri offensive tackle, Keegan Trost, to bolster the line. Trost ends out as a four-year starter with solid footwork, technique, and power that fits the Rams' scheme perfectly. These versatile two, handling left and right tackle, plus some guard snaps back in college. This move screams depth over instant starters, even though the team talked when now mode before the draft. Their offensive line has four of five starters hitting free agency after this year, with only Alleric Jackson locked in long-term. Jackson's head leg blick clots twice, and back up Warren McClendon needs to prove last season wasn't a fluke. Alleric gives tight-in insurance as Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen wrap-up deals, while Trost swings at tackle and brings that multi-position flex, the Rams lacked up front.
