Rams Re-sign Tyler Higbee, Near McDuffie Trade

Higby was one of their top unrestricted free agents after spending nearly a decade with the team. Last season, injuries limited him to 10 games, but he still hauled in 25 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns. He was a key part of the Rams' tight-end group that backed up their star receivers. Rapted by the Rams back in 2016, Higby has racked up 386 catches for 3949 yards over 138 games. A torn ACL at the end of the prior year kept him to just three appearances this season. Meanwhile, the Rams are close to landing all pro-corner back Trent McDuffie and a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs.
