Rams Re-sign Ronnie Rivers, Boost Playoff Hopes

The 27-year-old became an unrestricted free agent when his previous one-year contract expired at the start of the league year on March 11. In the 2025 season, rivers appeared in 11 games, mainly shining on special teams with 16 kick returns for 4-18. Yards averaging 26.1 yards per return. He also added 9 rushes for 46 yards as the third option in the team's backfield rotation. Rivers first joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State back in 2022. He spent all four of his NFL seasons with the team, providing reliable depth. This move helps the Rams maintain continuity in their running back group and special teams unit ahead of the new season. With Rivers back in the fold, Los Angeles bolsters its roster for another run at the playoffs.
