Rams Pass on A.J. Brown, Sign Davante Adams

Meanwhile, the Rams had lined up a potential swap that would have sent Devonte Adams elsewhere if they landed Brown. Instead, they committed $6 million to Adams over the weekend to keep him in the fold. Unlike the New England Patriots, who have shown stronger pursuit, the Rams don't face a pressing need for a top-wide-out. A Super Bowl champion like Brown would have added firepower, but he's not essential here. With Adams and Puka Nakua set as their one-two punch heading into the season, Los Angeles remains well-stocked and ready to roll without chasing that.
