Rams Hire Kliff Kingsbury, Shake Up Coaching Staff

Kingsbury joined just a month after the Washington commanders let him go. Many expected him to take over as offensive coordinator, but that role went to Nathan Schillhase, the former passing game coordinator. McVey will keep calling the place himself. Kingsbury has a strong reputation as one of the top offensive minds in football. He boosted the commanders from 25th and scoring one year to 5th the next, though injuries derailed things later. Fans and analysts see his firing as rushed. McVey called the staff shake up different but remains optimistic of our progress in his 10th season leading the team. Kingsbury, now 46, adds experience from stents as head coach with the Arizona Cardinals in Texas Tech, plus time as an analyst at USC.
