Rams' Edge Rushers: Drafting for Depth

Fronts under coordinators, like Rahim Morris, and now Mike Shula. They've leaned on bets like Vaughn Miller and Leonard Floyd early on, drafting edges sparingly with mixed success until recently. In the last couple years, things picked up. They grabbed Byron Young in Round 3 of 2023, who started three years and notched 27.5 sacks. Then jared verse when first round in 2024, with 12 sacks in two seasons, and Josiah Stewart joined last year with three sacks over. 17 games plus playoffs. The rotation solid up top, but depth is thin behind those three. Guys like Desmond Johnson lack edge burst, and Young's in his final rookie deal year, so they might need reinforcements without breaking the bank. This draft class shines through Round 3, with standouts like Arville Reese from Ohio State, Ruben Bain from Miami, and TJ Parker from Clemson Up.
