Jewish audio on Kabad.org Heu Khaismetra may Mishkov, a Maishov, Patek Shv, begins by telling us that the Zavs and Bakhla and these series, when the Ramam mentioned Zav, it means Zav, the Khaveirov, Zav, Zav and Nida and your leddes, that they, in part, what we are calling now, Tumas, Mishkov, or Mishov or Merkov, Bchame Shtorachem, and that is, when they are either standing, sitting, lying, hanging from or leaning on, in other words, as we are learning, that even if they do not have direct contact, and even if in between the Zavs and the items underneath him, her, etc. There is a stone which Bchla does not become Tame, but if under that stone you have something that was meant to be sat upon, to be light upon, etc., not only one item, but even ten, or more mattresses, let's say for example, and on top of these ten you have a stone, and

on top of the stone you have the Zav, how does he, in part Tumas, when he is either standing on it, whether he is sitting on it, whether he is lying on it, when he is hanging from it, or whether he is leaning on it. Now the Tumas of Mishkov is unique that all of these mattresses become Tame like the Zav, that means that they acquire Abhatum, which means that they could in part Tumas, also to Adam Vikalen, so that Amba and this chapter is speaking about now, how can these items in part Tumas to Adam, and let's emphasize to Adam, we are going to learn later in the ninth chapter that there is going to be other rules, how these items that became, that acquired Tumas Mishkov, how do they impart it to Kalim or Eichlin. Perek Shvi is speaking now about how they impart Tumas to Adam, and that is going to be Bishiva Drakham, Bishiva Drakham will mean that even when the Zav went away, if now

a Adam that's taught is same thing, it's going to be, I made, Yoy Shave, Shreykhyev, Nithla Venishan, or Masa and Maga to the item that acquired Tumas of Mishkov, that person will also become Tave, but now he'll become Tame obviously on a level of Arishay, which means he can then be Maitama Eichlin O Mashkin, but he can no longer be Maitama other Adam and Kalim. Hilchai Smaitama Mishkov, a Mishapedek Shmiini introduces a unique Tumas that could be imparted by a Zav, and whenever we speak about a Zav, we mean Zav, the Chavadev, a Tumas that we are calling Tumas Heset, the Tumas of moving, but to appreciate its uniqueness by the Zav. Let's first go back and repeat the Ehalochah that we learned in the beginning of Sefer Tarah of Ahalochah that we learned in the first chapter of Hilchai Smaitama Mish, and that is that if a person, a Ishtad were to move a Mace, not through directly touching it,

but a person that started, pushed a chair, that pushed a corpse. Since a corpse is Maitama Bimmasa, Masa literally means if he lifts it here, even though he didn't lift it off the ground, we already learned over there that moving something is included in Tumas Masa. However, by the Tumas Mace, by the example that we gave what happened was, is that the source of Tumas, the Mace, is being moved by a person that started. Had that happened in the other direction, if the source of Tumas would have moved someone who started, then there would not be any Tumas, if there would not be touch. And here is where the Zav, the Chavadev Ayurneek, the Zav is the one that is the source of the Tumas. If a Zav moves an item, even though there was no touch, that item also becomes Tamey, and that is what we refer to when we speak about the Hesse T Hasev. Now, listen to the uniqueness over here. Let's speak about the Klechetes.

A Klechetes can only acquire Tumas from its inner airspace. If a Zav were to move even in directly, but he were to do a Hesse T Hase to a Klechetes, even if the Klechetes is some it possible, that means the covering is tightly covered. And if there would have been let's say Tumas oil through a Mace, then everything in it, including the Klee, would not be called the Kamtamey. Over here it will be Kamtamey, because since he is moving it, you are moving all of it. You are also moving the inner airspace. You are able now to, in part, Tumam had the Zav touched it. From the outside it would not become Tamey, but Hesse would make that item become Tamey. Now it's not a Tumas Mishkov. It's not Tamey on the level of an Av, but it's Tamey on the level of adhesion. Hilchetes, with Tamey, Mishkov, a Mesh of Pedykchi, is going to continue to speak about this unique halacha of Hesse T Hasev, but it's going to clarify that when is the Zav going to one part Tumas through movement, only if it's going to be classified halachically as

direct movement. Mashainkin, a movement that happens, but is considered halachically indirect. It will not, in part, Tumam at all, for example, if there is an item that is firmly supported or connected to the ground or nailed into the ground, and you have a Zav that bangs on it, and by doing so it causes that item to vibrate, and there was something else on that item. It was food there, and the food there for either fell off or it moved. So there was a movement that the Zav caused, but this will halachically be defined, will be considered, will be classified as an indirect movement. Mashainkin, if this item was not firmly affixed to the ground, and a Zav bangs on one part of it, then we say anything that was on it, even though there was no direct touch, if it moved, even if it didn't fall off, that is considered the direct asset, which then that item will become Tumay.

Now the Rambam here in this chapter goes back to address something that we began learning in Pategzayin. In Pategzayin we learned both how the Mishkov acquires Tumam, and then how does it in Partumam. In Pategzayin we learned that the Mishkov or the Mashaink or the Merekov will in Partumam. It is Shiva Drachim, right? Not only Bemaagah or Bemaasa, but also through the five ways through which itself acquires Tumam, and that is through I made Yoyshed Shrekh of Nithlavanishan, here is where the Ramam writes, pamed, Paramamurim, that's only if it's in Partum Tumam Tumam other. Mashainkin, if the Mishkov, the Mashaink of the Merekov, they are the same level of an aff. They can only be metame Kaelim, they can only be metame achlanan Mashkin, only if there is Mashainkin, which means direct touch.
