Ramadan Reflection Day 11- Stand Firm Against Mockery– Dr. Abdul Wahid

Mockery, humiliation, rejection—these were the brutal challenges the Prophet ﷺ faced in the early years of his mission. Yet, in the face of such torment, Allah revealed a powerful command: Proclaim the truth and turn away from those who mock you.

Surah Al-Hijr reminds us that every messenger sent to guide humanity was met with ridicule—from Nuh (AS) to Musa (AS) to Isa (AS). Their people mocked them, belittled them, and resisted the divine message. But in every case, Allah’s promise held true—those who opposed the truth were ultimately defeated.

This message is for us today. As we see Islam mocked and attacked in our time, as we face opposition for upholding the truth, do we hesitate?

Do we soften our stance?

Or do we stand as the Prophet ﷺ did—fearless, unwavering, relying on Allah alone?
