Jordan Hawley writer guest stars, Alejandra Giuliani is Dr. Emile Hamilton Cameron, Ben Croft, who is a good friend of mine as Dr. Cotes synopsis apocalypse in Metropolis. Metrocalips Krypton of the dead zombieville, the clarking dead. It's the zombie episode folks. And let me just say this. I'm going to just I'm going to say a few things. What the fard is going on with the show season nine. Everyone tells me it's such a great season hanging there. I liked it a lot. Okay. So I'm not a hater, but what the hell happened? I haven't liked one episode this season. I don't even know what the hell's going on. I've rewatched it to see what's going on. If I took a test on this shit, I would utterly fail.

3:06Why I I got to tell you when I was watching this episode, all I could think about is how much you were not going to like it for a number of reasons. One, what the like what the fuck number two, after the first two episodes, the only big questions. This episode answers none of them. It just jumped ship to a whole mother thing. No. And I just mean the whole time that you were not going to give it a lot of roses. I don't know what the I don't know what's going on. The lighting's all weird for both episodes. It feels like it's underwater. I couldn't breathe. I didn't know where I was. I wasn't it wasn't relatable. I don't know what you guys are talking about season nine is the best season. This better get this better see episode five better be a masterpiece because I'm the ship sinking right now for me. Well, and I never say that. No, but look, I love the show and I love the characters. And I just think that we've got to get back the semblance of of smallville is sort of

4:07becoming something else and I trying to hard. Maybe I don't know. Well, if you didn't this was the first episode you ever saw you'd be like, huh? Yeah, it has nothing to do with smallville. This felt like it was like, hey, let's try something and they tried something. Yeah. And like it like with the lighting and everything you said it was different. Like I think they were trying to go for a thing like a little genre bend. Okay, Rosenbaum and it doesn't answer any questions, but she says. Michael, I just found like phone. It was right right where I was sitting right behind what did I tell you right where you were sitting. That is where he told me. Thank you. Clark wakes up alone at the watch tower. He peels tape off his arm revealing jab marks, his phone beeps with a text message from Oliver that says your phone's right in front of you. Says I lost her. He stumbles into the abandoned city streets. He's super here is rock music mutters. Lois and speeds away to the ransack and spooky DP. He sees Lois perched over the copier. She spins around dead. I didn't zombified and lunges at Clark. And we're often running.

5:08I mean, there you go. I was like, okay, this is a zombie episode. This is going to be a zombie episode. And you know, here's the thing. You can't do a zombie episode until you establish what the show is and they haven't done that yet in season nine. That's my opinion. It's walking dead small. Yeah. And look, they did a great job in season eight and all this and maybe there's a payoff but like I'm like, it's hard to stay interested in this. I want to see who DP did real quick. I bet it's what's his name done leaving. Now it's Glenn. Glenn. Glenn probably licked his chops at this though. You know, he's a horror guy like you. So I mean, the lighting was different, but I don't think it was bad. It was just different. Yeah. It would have been, this is an episode you do in season three or four. You know, after, you know, you're still like, okay, still we got the care to get the B story helping us out. And like, 12 hours early at the DP, Clark and Lois prepped for an all-nighter when they get an alert for a fire cross town. Clarkly, Clarkly, Clarkly dips out and back in with coffee for Lois while hiding, soot

6:13on his hand. They get another alert for a high speed motorcycle chase. Clark cold breaths Lois's coffee to distract her and zips away again. I thought that was okay. It's cute. Like, he's like, I'm going to go save people, but you're not going to notice. Yeah. I always remember being on set. Every time they did this, we had to like titto a very thin line when Clark start getting a little easy with his using his abilities. Yeah. Whether it's in the next episode, go and get a maple donut written for everybody. You know, these sort of things. I always remember just being like, okay, all right, but let's keep it eye on all this. Also, if Kelly and Brian are listening, I love you. You're super talented. You're great writers. You're great all that. So, but I just don't know what's going on here. And maybe everyone else loves it, but I don't feel like that's happening. So I don't know what's going on. And maybe there are reasons, but, you know, I've always commended your amazing work. So sorry for shitting on you. I mean, might have been easier to make season nine like a like a like a like today, like a six or 10 episode, like sort of like thing because there's this, there's a lot of,

7:14a lot of episodes to fill, a lot of weeks to fill. On a backstreet, Clark shoves a truck into the road to impede the motorcycleist who is one Oliver queen. Clark admits he was wrong about the whole day of a situation. It tries to convince Oliver to get back on track. Oliver instead mocks Clark's new look in Jesus' virtue, signaling and speeds away past the cop and pursue. I thought Justin did a good job here of in this episode of sort of being at rock bottom, but knowing there was somewhere else to go, but not knowing where it was. Like he didn't give up. He just, he was rudalist. And I thought Justin did a great job because he very easily could have just checked out. Yeah, there's two episodes in a row of that kind of like, and I was, I was just getting tired of it. I was getting tired of this one was fine, but that was a lot of fuck. Here we go again. He's at the bar. He's with some woman who's, I don't even know who she is and they just had sex and they're talking. That's the other episode. We'll get into that. Oh, it is. Go ahead, Ryan. At Lutheran, our test swipes through the Kryptonian symbols found in Brazil, Mongolia, China and Turkey, where the L symbol is.

8:17Security enters and tells her that their men lost the Kryptonians. Suddenly there's commotion outside. They find a dead guard with his face bit in the hall, a raged out guard crashes through the window and wails on the head security. There's bolts back to the study and tries to make a call, but the lines are down. Class of zombie trope there. The window zombie grabs her throat and she smashes it with a scotch decanter. Another zombie chucks tests through her glass desk. She un-sheathes the sword and gets to slice and undycin'. She slays them all up and not before one of them takes a bite out of her right trap. There you go. At the MG Clark and Lois over here, two hot doctors discussing test of symptoms and slip into her patient room. Zombie tests roars. Shubs Lois into the wall. Clark restrains tests and the doctor sedates her. Lois hops up and announces she's off to the office to write a story. By the way, that scene before in the Luther Mansion was kind of cool where they turn away. It's over and then boom through the glass. That was kind of good. I'll give him credit for that. I think Glenn had a great time. It's not that it didn't live in the spot. No, it did look great. And even Sparvel General, whatever it is that tests in the zombie mode, she chucks somebody

9:21and then she grabs Clark and she can't, you know what I mean? He's able to hold her down. It just didn't, yeah, it just didn't look like Sparvel. I don't know. Go ahead, read the next three. And then at the WT, Clark urges Chloe to run a test on test's blood sample. She hacks into security footage of the zombie attack at the manor but can't hack the disease control agency. A meal hypothesizes some kind of viral rage thing is happening. Clark suggests he talked to the disease specialist in the city and promptly whisks him away. That was kind of fun where a meal like didn't realize the Clark had all these abilities. I know it was kind of you kind of played it fun. I enjoyed it. Emil talks to the hot doctor, coach, who informs him that the virus is airborne and tests was brought in from the DP not home. Clark was super listening and again mutters. Lois at the creepy DP. Lois is attacked by a zombie co-worker. She escapes into the hall as Clark arrives. They fend off some more on the stairs, but Lois gets bit in the leg almost made it out. At Luther corp, a panceless cop digs a photo of Lois out of Oliver's wallet. He chases a waky, waky pill, waky, waky pill that's more scotch and tries to get around

10:29two started. But when she yanks off his belt, she notices a camera in the buckle. She slaps him and leaves in a rightful huff. Oliver examines the buckle and mutters. Mercy. There was a lot of like saying women's names just like off to the side to nobody. Yes. Lois. Mercy. Yeah. Whispery. The WPWT watch tower Chloe has isolated in enzyme and test his blood. It doesn't have a match yet. Emile, my best friend growing up, pulls up an alarming map of the potential spread in states that the virus induces sleep so the virus can germinate. He checks the enzyme and notes that the only time he's seen it before is in Davis. Bloom. That's doomed there. Right? Yeah. Because he's the only alien he's operated on. Go ahead, Ryan. GP Clark wraps Lois's leg and she decides it's end of the world confession time. She says she feels a deep personal connection with the blur and wants to be with him. Then a zombie gets chucked through the window.

11:29Oliver steps through and cocks a shotgun. Clark usheres them to the elevator. Says he's going to look for help and instruct Oliver to keep Lois awake. Oliver just says, good luck, buddy, and shuts the door on him. Yeah. You know, I just don't think we need to really talk about anything. It's just it's well, we'll get questions and we'll answer them. They're not even all about this episode. They're all about other stuff. Yeah, I just feel like what's it to talk about to zombie episode? What do you want to know? And we'll talk to Alessandro later. Yes, who we love. By the way, I think if it wasn't for Alessandro, this episode would have seriously turned. He's the only character that comes in with actual curiosity and patience and like feels like we're the old person. He's like, hmm, this is very interesting. I want to learn more about this. His performance gives it some credibility. And he's got a lot of people with some gravitas. Clark speeds into the WT to be as he meals is surprised to find out just now in the moment. The extraterrestrial specimen with Davis Bloom's blood type. I thought like we he is. We all assumed that a meal knew that Clark was the alien, but like he just found out just

12:32then. And I thought he played it great. But wait, isn't there a scene where he takes him with him and he zoom together? Yeah, they zip, but he thinks he's like a meteor freak or something else that is not like the actual alien specimen. Ah, okay, because I was like, well, you should know then. What I love like he's like an action movie guy is like, well, all right, this is happening. Yeah, they inject him with liquid kryptonite and draw a vial blood, Clark passes out, Chloe and Emil leave to get his blood and the antidote into the water supply. And then in the DP elevator, Oliver pops some pills and gazes into his reflection. He reminisces about him and Lois together for just long enough that she passes out. Yet she rages, ruffs him up and escapes through the ceiling. And we're back at the cold open, but Clark wakes up and now we know what the I lost her text message means. Yeah, this whole thing with him like longing after her and the girl that got away. And it's part of his sort of downward spiral. I get it, but it's pretty important. It's what's the word it's embarrassing. It's embarrassing, frankly.

13:33He's sort of looking, he's lost, he's sad, he's like depressed about like his aero-ness and he's looking for answers and he's looking for the last time he was truly happy and when it was with Lois and he thinks that's where he's got to get back to. Go ahead. In the Queen jet, Emil lets us know that they already got the antidote in the water supply and now it's time to release the rest of it into the clouds to precipitate down with this very convenient rainstorm and blanket the city. This was an all-time suspenders moment for me. They're going to get a cumulon snimbus cloud to do all the work for them. Well, there was that Batman movie, the Christopher Nolan Direct, I forget which was where they were going to put something in the water supply. I was a Batman beginning. Oh, Batman begins. Isn't it? Yeah. This is an all-time suspenders moment when you just said, when you decide not to mention the effects look straight out of a pirated DVD. The effects were mentioned. Yeah, it's just a gun. When they get cut to the plane and it was just, I don't know, I thought we were doing better with the effects and I thought. You know, right now I'm upset with all my patrons because they demanded I come back

14:35for season nine and I did and this is what you're giving me. It just really allows you guys. I mean, how dare you. This is my time. This is my time. I love you, but good Lord almighty. You owe me for this. All right, here we go. Emil tells Chloe that he knows she's been tracking Oliver and she asks him to keep it a secret. Clark finds zombie lowest and the DP bullpen as before. She gnashes and chucks him through an f-ing window. They tussle in the street, but he's able to restrain her as the storm approaches and as the rain comes down, she transforms back to normal in his arms. She holds her clothes as the other citizens emerge cured as well. They did a good job with makeup there. The transition to makeup. Yeah. Yeah. Good job, Tom. Way to find something. Good job, makeup team. Clark finds Oliver drinking in an alley and scolds him. Oliver says he's been running away from himself for a long time and now knows who he really is. When Clark leaves, Oliver pulls his arrow suit out of his backpack, douses it in booze and lights it in Fuego.

15:37And at the farm, Clark places a photo of Lana in a scrapbook next to other photos of her weird. Lois enters with no memory of anything except Clark being a hero. He remembers not sharing his own secret after she shared hers. She says relax and attempts to give him a playful smack, but he instinctively grabs her arm and then they agree to remain in the mystery. And as she leaves, she gets hit with her visions again. Clark watches from the window concerned. And then in a warehouse, Zod meets with hot doctor coats because he's also can-dory in. Zod accuses him of being reckless with the virus. Yeah. But coats said it was nowhere. I know. Dude. Non-sequitor this episode should have been called. I mean, this guy's Zod shows up for one scene that I don't know what's going on. That was definitely shot during another episode and they just dropped it in. Dude, definitely. The doctor was an alien and thought like releasing a virus would get to the bottom of whatever they're doing. But that's, it was not the case. I think this is one of the lowest rated episodes in history.

16:39It's down there. Coats said it was totally worth it because it revealed that Joel survived and gets power from the yellow sun as this sheet of paper would the yellow symbol on it obviously brews. But he also presents the vial of Clark's blood. So we're cool, right? And Zod asks him to kneel and cuts his ass down with a sword. Yeah. I mean, the guy was, uh, where did he get his sword? Where did he get his sword? Yeah. Why is Zod using a sword? Why is Zod using a sword? Is it from, is it test his sword from earlier? I don't care what sword it was. Zod wouldn't wear it. He's a sword. He's got this strength. He's could do whatever he wants. But he uses a sword. They don't have powers under the yellow sun is what they're trying to get at. So he's got guns and so they don't have the powers. They're Clark has. Oh, I forgot about that closing thoughts. Not sure how this will tie into the rest of the season. It won't. This is a pretty unique stand alone. Not might there be more genre bending episodes? Hope not. Hope not. Look, I love the show.

17:39But I, I don't know how I can be convinced that I'm missing the boat here on these episodes. This is, I've said it before, a shout out to Dr. Mjola Soundo Giuliani for rolling with the punches and easy believable performance. Absolutely. Um, that's a thing. I mean, the performances were all good. It just was what are we doing? Lois and Clark getting closer, but these gosh darn visions, man. You know what I'm really scared about is the Ryan's favorite scene. I don't know. Maybe you're, maybe you're feeling what Clark was feeling, which is like what is happening here? Maybe Ryan should have the worst scene. I thought there was a lot. There'd be too many to choose from. All right. Interesting things. I know the top of the set with Oliver is an actress named Joey Thompson, who also appeared in the season five episode fade as Gia, a woman who makes out with Clark. She was also in an episode of track or last year. I'd like to know somebody come up with how many girls Clark has made out with in the show and how many Lexes made out with. I'd like to know that answer.

18:41It might be even. I don't know. We should take a poll. Let's do it online. How many has Clark kissed? How many has Lex kissed? I'm guessing Clark's kiss more. When Oliver arrives with a shot, he makes a reference to the famous zombie video game resident evil by Capcom at the release of this episode in 2009. Seven iterations of the game. 21:50We were talking, I think that Friday or Saturday, Ryan and Michael and I, and we were talking about who, you know, we need somebody and Ryan did mention you, AJ. And then I, I'd literally walking to the con and you're standing right there. And I was like, I was just talking. It was very organic. It was awesome. He's, I believe in it. The universe brought us together. It did. What do you think? How was your time on small, though? Well, it's funny because this is like made me think about it for maybe the first time in a long time. It was at this interesting in between time of my life and my career because I had just come off being a series regular on another show. I was actually looking at the timeline. I had to even go back and look myself up, which is a process. I'm not here to you guys do it very often. It can be humbling and also fascinating. I was looking at the timeline and it's just trying to figure out because I was on

22:51another show. And it looks like I started on small, though maybe when we were just wrapping up that show, I was on BSG. And so it may have been that my premature demise on that show kind of overlapped with small, they were coming along, which like a bird, I don't think audition. I think it might have just been an offer to come and play with no commitment or guarantee out last or anything just haters. This part, he's a nerd, a good nerd. You didn't come across that way. Well, I know. It's to you and your cool cars. I mean, you, here's the thing that these couple of episodes that were specifically this one, we did the episode and if you didn't do what you did with your character, the episode makes no sense. And you came in with like, with like the confident, calm curiosity with your

23:55character, like Chloe's looking to you for information and you have this over reaching sense of curiosity. I just said that, but like it totally works. Like you really brought the character to life because we need you to be that. Yeah. I'll be honest. Alessandro, this is AJ. I did not like this episode and we talked about it and you were the only, one of the only things we liked about the episode. And it was just a zombie episode, but you just seemed very real and collective. And I noticed that and in your acting. And so I'll just say that I'll just preface that. Yeah, definitely leans into some horror tropes, pretty heavy in this one. And I mean, as I remember, as best as I can, like, yeah, it became clear around this episode. I think Tom, you can sort of film the likes maybe it became clear that there was going to be a little bit more to then, you know, performing the occasional surgery.

24:55And there were some interesting grace notes that were going to get sprinkled in about his interlite about, you know, his head of the show and a little bit more origins and really baked into this episode. But there were some hints of that to come. And yeah, you know, the sideburns. Let's talk about the sideburns guys. Surprise you haven't brought them up yet. What the hell? It was a choice like in my life, guys. I chose to have those sideburns. And I went back a little bit to see like my first episodes just to remember or how I first was introduced. And those sideburns, they were not well trimmed. They were like bushy. And I had I was rocking this. I think it must have been like rebelling against the battle star clean cut. Yeah. Military look. And I just let her go. And for whatever reason, smallville let me look like that for a little while. Before I cleaned up. Anyway, sidebar sideburns sidebars sidebars sidebars.

25:56It took me a little while to even calibrate what was going on in the episode because all I could look at was my sideburns. Who was who was, you know, when you're on smallville, did you hang out with anybody or was everybody kind to you? Did you feel like it was a family or did you feel like, yeah, you know, I'm just on my own. And I just do the job and that was it because some jobs are like that. Some jobs where you just go on, do the work leave. Was there any connection or did you feel like you were a part of the team? Well, it was pretty clear that Tom had completely checked out. Like he was not there at all just phoning it in, right? So it was best to kind of just avoid eye contact with him as much as possible. And like just do my job, you know, mostly I was acting with a piece of tape anyway. Because he was like really not true. No, of course not. Of course not. Jesus. And you weren't unfortunately on the show yet or at all anymore because you'd left. But your reputation preceded you. Oh, thank you.

26:57And the worst part of the best possible way. Sorry. No, everyone was incredibly welcoming. It's it is a strange thing to come into a show that's been going on for so long. I'm sure you guys have experienced that over the years. So yeah, you kind of are trying to gauge or trying to read the room constantly, like not just the cast, but the crew. I had a cool connection though outside of the show in that I had met Cassidy before I came on the show because she just happened to be the neighbor of one of my best friends. Oh, wow. My good buddy, they lived across the hall from each other. So he had mentioned, oh, yeah, this new girl moved in across the hall. She's cool and you should meet her. She's on this show. I can remember what show it is. So we had actually hung out a couple of times before I came on and not to say that I had much to do with tests yet. But later on, that kind of that came to fruition.

27:58But that kind of stuff helps. That stuff helps a lot. I mean, I went on to a show called Lucifer and just a friend of a friend who had met it walking on the set just it really helps the familiarity really does help. Oh, for sure. And I was at a point in my career at this point. And this is maybe the first set that it felt like this where I came onto the set. And I knew like a dozen people in the crew already. And that's a great feeling too. Walking on and being like, oh, the first camera operator and the, you know, best boy in the caterer. I know all these people are ready for my first camera. Operator. Well, Hellia. Yeah, no kidding. Is it up here? Is it there? Yeah. Yeah, all that stuff. So that was really cool. I remember that feeling. It made me feel like just a little more confident coming into a new show, unfamiliar terrain. But yeah, I know everyone was really welcoming. And as I got to work with more of the acting ensemble, it became clear that, you know,

29:01that was kind of across the board. It was good family vibes. I like that. That makes me happy. I don't know how many episodes are you in? Are you because I have only watched the first four. Do you come back? You obviously come back. Yeah, I think I was in about 15 by the end of the, the whole show. Well, man, just kept coming back to the well. They couldn't get enough. They couldn't get enough of the sideburns. Yeah, side bars and then they really use the sideburns in season 10. There's an episode I want to come back and, you know, because there'll be a, you will time to talk about. We'll see if we can make that line up. But yeah, that was that felt like the culmination of the arc of my sideburns was in that episode to come. I love that. I'm sure there was some truth about Tom too. Don't make eye contact. No, I'm kidding. Just empty vessel. He's like, I'm done here waiting to be filled. I did hear one story once from a, from a third party that someone had been,

30:02one of our background performers in a talent scene and they had gone online and talked about how I wasn't very nice to them and this and that. And to be honest, when you're walking into a scene with a bunch of background performers, you don't necessarily engage with them good or bad because you're there to do your scene. And I think that's kind of what happened because I was never mean or anybody. I may have not spoken to someone and maybe that was the rub. I don't know. Yeah, but that sounds like they're a problem, Tom, not yours. They're triggers. How many years did you do battle star for? We started battle star in 2003 with a mini series. And so it was wrapping up because we also had a strike in the middle that kind of interrupted stuff. I think we were wrapping up battle star around 2008, nine in that window, which is again, when I started, I think I came on to small, level around eight and I or end of eight early nine. So yeah, obviously, yeah, seminal moment in my life.

31:09And just blessed all around to work on that show previously and to do it in my hometown of Vancouver. Yeah. You know, I literally could to work like bicycle to the studio if I wanted to. It was it was amazing. It was amazing. What are you doing? What are you doing now? Anything we want to promote? I just wrapped up a really sweet guest spot on a show called yellow jacket. Oh, man. The shoot's here. Yeah. So then you show that is I don't know when it's coming out. It's dropping soon. And I got this really fun little. And yeah, well, as you guys have been doing the convention circuit of late and I like it. VanXbo Toronto coming up. Oh, that's a big one. That's a big. From the style strong as you know, I'm on a show called deaf note that is a big. Yeah. Nice. A big popular one of the classics now it's considered of anime. And I did the original English voice dub for that. So I'm on the road. But your favorite experience was obviously small though.

32:11Come on. But yeah, yeah, oh, without a doubt. No, actually, in seriously, it was a really beautiful moment and chapter in my life of coming off this huge kind of. I hadn't processed battle star yet at all. And I and to be coming on to another set right away. To feel a certain confidence, but also like to know that okay, I'm a working actor. That wasn't it. There's something beyond this. And above like besides all that, I was also like a huge DC comic nerd. Like I was, you know, I was. Initially, anyway, it felt like I was cosplaying in this in this childhood wishful film. I love that world of like like the action figures were on my mantle still. That's great. And now I was getting to embody that world. And so that was super cool. So very fond memories of all of that.

33:13And just the idea of being, yeah, no, I'm a working actor. I am doing this. And well, just look at all of us. We still haven't peaked. Not any of us. I know. None of us. Well, look, you are a, um, you're a gem, man. You're not only a kind, uh, talented guy, but you're also a team player. And that's why you work so much. And that's why people love having you around because part of the business is like, hey, can you do the work? Yes. But how is he on set? You know, can he deliver and you deliver? And now that I know you're going to be in season 10, I might have to do the 10th season. I haven't decided yet. Now Michael has one thing to look forward to. Now I have one thing to look forward to. You really do, Michael. It's actually, you should just, if you only do one episode, it's got to be fortune. I'm a pinnacle of television. It's like, I mean, it's like shocking that it didn't get an Emmy. It's just breaking bad wishes to try to get me in Cassidy on at the same time for that one.

34:14Because we have a, just like, chef's kiss of a moment in that. No, we fun. Ryan, we can do that, right? We can absolutely do that. We proved that we did a double interview last season. The best thing about the next episode is the fact that you get to see that banter and you get to see how they play off each other even more. I would say the sharpest freaking Japanese steak knife, giant knife, that you could just cut someone's head off right away. Samurai sword would be pretty good. Yeah. I still have my Omaha 2000 bat from middle school. Like that. Ethan. Ethan. It's quite cool. It's so couples by the idea of doing Davis last season. Why is he so okay with the zombies dying over and over again? Do you think he feels any remorse? No. How can he feel remorse? They're monsters. Tom, do you feel remorse? Does Clark feel remorse? It's a good question that the episode certainly doesn't address. No, it's not. Ethan, they're zombies. They're not human. They were human, but they're not. You have to kill zombies. You can't start questioning your morality here. You've got to just kill. Kill. He can't just pour rain on them and come back to life.

I was really feeling the resident evil walking that by from this episode. And I was wondering if any of you have any favorite zombie apocalypse shows or movies that you like to watch and how you guys felt seeing small veil move in this direction for an episode. I hated it. And my favorite zombie movie was Return of the Living Dead. Hilarious, creepy, cool, unique, freaking genius. I have a poster of it right there. Yep, it was written by the guy who did Alien, wrote Alien, Dan O'Bannon.

41:24He wrote and directed it. He died early in his life. So that sucks. But Return of the Living Dead is great. Evil Dead is evil dead too is brilliant. I love the original night of the Living Dead. I love Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, all those. But Return. You know how the Dead's Sean. Sean of the Dead. Sean of the Dead. Of course. I love Sean of the Dead. There's a Darrell Dixon spin off, which had caught my attention to walking dead spin off, which I I didn't necessarily watch the Walking Dead, but somehow the Darrell Dixon got my attention. I've seen all that. Oh yeah. You know what's funny is I read somewhere that like he was so in his character that he wouldn't bathe. And like he like he smelled bad. Norman. Wait, what's the name? Norman Bates. No, Norman Reedus. He's awesome. I love Norman. I met him once. He's awesome. But I remember I read something where I'm not sure he he had a lot of he smelled a little bit. So because he was like that character. He really convinced. He's a great actor. Boom. All right. Rose and bomb ratings. Rose and bomb rating. Did.

42:25Did. Ryan Beonus. Don't hold back. I don't know if I felt full bomb. Wait, you don't even know if it's a bomb. I'm going heater to see. I was going to be heater. I agree with Tom. I was going to go heater. Dude, I, the only reason I'm not going three bombs is because I feel guilty. I'm giving two bombs. This was awful. This was like what in what is this? This isn't it isn't the show at all. The whole show wasn't the show. I got to give it two bombs. It's like if I watched this and somebody said watch the model like Tom said earlier, I go, I'll never watch another episode of this show. Never. If I wanted to watch zombies, I'd watch a zombie movie. There's no reason for this episode. It came out of nowhere. That's fine. It came out of nowhere. Death and save count. Death and save count. They both gave it heaters, which really equates to two bombs. How many people got saved? Seven dead. Seven zombies named two of Tesla security guards. Test killed three zombies, formerly humans. Oliver shut his zombie and Zod killed Dr. Coats.

43:26Two saved, Clark saved Loes directly in the rest of the citizens with his liquefied blood. So again, large, unaccountable group equals one. Three episodes, nine dead, five saved, series three, 18 dead, three, 64 saved. And I don't know how he's going to do it. Ryan's favorite. I do think there were three interesting scenes. We're all good. Let's do it. Scene one is the cold open where Clark wakes up. What happens with that? It just needs like what the fuck's going on? Yeah. Picks up the phone. Yeah. Scene two tests versus the zombies. And with her manner. And scene three, Clark holds Lois and she survives. I'm going to have to say he holds Lois when she survives. What do you say, Clark? Oh, and two. Three. I was right. Yeah. Boom. That's amazing how I got it. That of all the people to get it. I think Tom was looking for like the wild card. It was, I mean, I think those were three cool scenes. So I think that the heater is justified. But yeah. You're telling me so three good scenes in an hour show

44:27is worthy of a heater? 42 minutes, but yeah. I thought this one didn't defend me as much as other episodes have. And one and episodes in the future might. I'm not offended. I'm just like, I'm just shocked. I think I'm shocked that now I've watched four episodes. And there's not a lot to grasp onto. There's not a lot to go, okay, there's, it's just kind of all over the place and there's not much. It's funny because we kind of anticipated that's how you were going to feel when we started season eight. And it turns out you really liked it. Yep. And so now we're walking into this and it's like, woo. Yeah, I don't know how you turn around from this. I got 18 episodes left to watch. And they've got to be a lot better than this. I don't know how you're going to feel. Could it be a season of, could it be a season of bombs? Could it? Dude, it may well. Dude, I'm honest. Like I gave some high scores last season and I wasn't honest. So you can't say I'm, you know, I'm like being a dick here.
