Today is RU OK Day and we're being encouraged to check in with those around us. Matt Bowen joins us now from ING, a proud conversation partner of RU OK Day. Good morning to you, Matt. OK, we talk about cost of living stress so much, don't we? How much does money impact our mental health? Yeah, good morning, Matt. Look, it's probably the number one source of the driver we surveyed a bunch of Aussies earlier this year. The biggest source of stress for Aussie households this year, even higher than family breakdowns or even relationship tension. And the thing about money is it impacts us at every moment of our life. We could be simply moving house, we could be losing our job, but there might be separation, the loss of a loved one, and these money stresses just continue to pop up. And as you've been living in a very constrained financial environment now for a couple of years, so talking about money often feels a little bit taboo, but today's your excuse to do that. Open up that conversation. We've been a proud conversation partner for RU OK for a number of years now. So we are just reminding Aussies to check in on each other, talk about those problems.

You don't need to fix their finances, just let them know that you're there for them and also that you can support them. And of course, the AUOK website has some amazing resources to help navigate those conversations. It's all free to download and I can really help people feel better about their personal situation. Yeah, and in fact, you don't need to solve any of their problems. Just listen, right? Yeah, it's a terrific day. Thank you very much, Matt Bourne from ING.
