Quick Hitters: James Cook, Jon Feliciano & Bruce Smith

On this Friday episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran goes solo and focuses on three primary topics: the lofty expectations of Bills rookie running back James Cook, former Bills guard Jon Felicano borderline gloating that the Bills lost to the Chiefs in last year’s playoffs, and Bruce Smith’s words representing an entire community still devastated and mourning over what happened last weekend on the city’s east side.

There’s a lot (a lot) of fans projecting Cook will get at least 500 receiving yards in his rookie season. Patrick explains why maybe the bar should be a little lowered, using last year’s NFL stats the Bills franchise historically as reasons. Also, Jon Feliciano sounded pretty resentful about not being in the starting lineup at the end of last season and it showed in a clip shared from an interview with Ariel Helwani. That, plus the Buffalo community continues to come together with many current and former players joining the cause and more.
