Quantity vs Quality

About this episode

Are Swimmers Over Training?

This week on the Propulsion Swimming Podcast we are discussing where swimmers are over training using current professional training methods.

After Swim Swam reported this week that 58% of 5,800 recorded swims since the coronavirus in USA swimming were personal bests, it got us thinking whether there is any correlation to the enforced break and these faster times.

We debate if the training methods that boxing uses, of three months intense training camp, before a competition is something that can be considered and the pros and cons of both Quantity and Quality training.
