About this episode
Qantas has launched its biggest overhaul to its frequent flyer program, introducing status credit rollovers where 50% of excess credits can carry over to the new year, the ability to earn up to 140 status credits annually through ground-based spending across 10 categories, and Jetstar Classic Upgrades allowing points-based upgrades on international Jetstar flights. Status credits, earned through flying, determine membership tiers (Silver, Gold, Platinum) which unlock benefits like lounge access, priority boarding and extra baggage, while frequent flyer points can be redeemed for reward flights and upgrades.
