Purdue Stuns Michigan, Wins Big Ten Tournament

As the seven seed, the Boiler Makers won four straight games to claim the title. Michigan had dominated the regular season with a 19-1 conference record, finishing four games ahead of everyone else. Purdue ended up 13-7 in lead play behind a few teams like Wisconsin and Tide with UCLA. Meanwhile, Nebraska, Michigan State, and Illinois shared second place. Players stepped up big for Purdue in the final. Trey Kaufman ran score 20 points with three rebounds and assist and a steal. Ostercliffe added 21 points, five rebounds, and an assist while Brayden Smith had 14 points, five rebounds, and 11 assists. Kaufman ran rallied the team by reminding them to seize the postseason after letting Michigan take the regular season crown.
