Purdue Stuns Michigan in Big Ten Tournament

Smith spread the ball well, setting up teammates like Oscar Cluff with 21 points, Fletcher Lawyer with 14, and Trey Kaufman-Ren with 20 on efficient shooting. Michigan's player of the year Yaksal Lindobord fought back with 20 points and 5 rebounds, but Purdue dominated the second half with an early. 11-2 run. Fans saw a tight first half end in a tie, thanks to Michigan Guard's Elliott Kado, and the Murray Burnett combining for 17 points. Still, the Wolverines couldn't keep up after the break, missing a chance at back-to-back tournament titles last done by Michigan in 2017 and 2018.
