During a press conference on Wednesday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt firmly pushed back against the mainstream media's narrative that President Trump’s use of executive orders is creating a constitutional crisis. Leavitt emphasized that the true source of concern lies within the judiciary, specifically pointing to judges within the court system who, she argues, have overstepped their boundaries and obstructed the administration’s agenda. She framed these judicial actions as the real challenge to constitutional order, accusing some judges of legislating from the bench rather than upholding the rule of law.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a series of new lawsuits targeting states that have implemented policies blocking or restricting federal deportation efforts. Bondi criticized these states for undermining national immigration laws, asserting that such actions compromise public safety and erode the federal government’s ability to enforce border security. She stated that these lawsuits are part of a broader effort to ensure that state and local governments cooperate with federal immigration authorities rather than obstruct enforcement.
